Unit 5: You have natural rhythms all around you
Nursery rhymes, conversations, shopping centres and repetition - poetry is everywhere.
Unit 6: Found poems
Look, here comes the junk mail - and inspiration - again! Newspapers, magazines and advertising all supply material for poetry.
Unit 7: Using titles/first lines/ stanzas/conclusions
What types of stanzas? Samples and experiments, titles as part of the poem, first lines and the powerful conclusions.
Unit 8: Editing/rewriting and markets
Reading aloud, internal questions and breathing space for editing. Plus ways to move on to publication.
